I wonder if everyone has heard of hall sensors?

Hall sensor is a magnetic field sensor, many friends know that it is made according to the Hall effect. Through Hall sensors, we can solve many problems in life and bring convenience to our daily life.

What are the applications of Hall sensors?

First, the hall sensors on the vehicle are also called camshaft position sensors. The function is to judge the cylinder ignition, that is, to adjust the ignition time. If he fails, it won't affect the car, but the engine won't run properly, which is very serious. It's not an issue that doesn't have an impact on fuel consumption, but it's not completely out of control either, it needs to be replaced.

How Hall sensors work:

Hall current sensors are made according to the Hall principle. It has two working modes, namely magnetic balance type and direct type. Hall current sensor is generally composed of primary circuit, magnetic focusing ring, Hall switch, (secondary coil) and amplifier circuit.

1. DC current sensor (open loop type) It is well known that when a current passes through a long wire, a magnetic field is generated around the wire. The magnitude of this magnetic field is proportional to the current flowing through the wire. It can collect and sense the Hall device through the magnetic core, so that it has a signal output. The signal is directly output after being amplified by the signal amplifier, and the normal rated output is calibrated to 4V.

2. Magnetic balance type current sensor (closed loop type) Magnetic balance type current sensor is also known as compensation type sensor, that is, the magnetic field generated by the measurement current Ip of the main loop of the magnetic focusing ring passes through the secondary coil, and the magnetic field generated by the current is compensated, so that the Hall The device is in the working state of detecting zero magnetic flux.
