Vehicle speed sensor is used to detect the speed of electronic control vehicle, control the computer to use this input signal to control engine idle speed, automatic transmission's torque converter lock, automatic transmission shift and engine cooling fan's opening and closing, cruise speed and other functions.
The output signal of the speed sensor can be either magnetoelectric AC signal, Hall digital signal or photoelectric digital signal. The speed sensor is usually installed in the drive axle housing or transmission housing, and the speed sensor signal line is usually installed in the shielded jacket. This is to eliminate the electromagnetic and radio frequency trunk generated by high voltage electric wire, on-board telephone or other electronic equipment. Disturbance, used to ensure that electronic communications do not interrupt, to prevent driving performance deterioration.
