How to Choose the Main Technical Parameter Accuracy of Current Transformer

The accuracy of the current transformer is also called precision, because the ratio error and angular error of the current transformer are inevitable. The accuracy of the current transformer is numerically equal to the percentage of the error limit of this ratio. For example, the maximum ratio error of 0.5-level current transformer is ± 0.5%. There are 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 3, and 5 levels for measuring current transformers, and 5P and 10P for protection current transformers. Under normal circumstances, choose 0.2 for measurement, 0.5 for measurement, and 1 for general monitoring instruments.

At the same time, we need to pay attention to the use of current transformers: the secondary side of the current transformer must be grounded to prevent high voltage from passing through the primary side to the secondary side, which threatens equipment and life safety; pay attention to the polarity and polarity of the first and second sides of the current transformer The instrument is burned in the case of serious sexual misconnection; the current transformer cannot be opened for the second time. It is strictly forbidden to install a fuse on the secondary side to prevent the high voltage induced by the open side of the secondary side, which is dangerous to life.
